Who can apply?

In-Field Quotas	Bachelor degree holders of *Social Sciences Education* program should apply to in-field applicant quotas.
Out-of-Field Quotas	Bachelor degree holders of History, History Teaching, Geography, Geography Teaching, Sociology programs can apply to out-field quotas.

Graduation Requirements:

In order to graduate from the program, students are required;

to take at least 7 courses (21 local credits/ 120 ECTS), two of which are required by the department
to pass the “Seminar” and “Research Methods and Scientific Ethics” courses,
to pass all courses with at least CB grade and have at least 2.50/4.0 GPA,
to comply with the publication requirement,
to register to “Lecture on Specialized Field” and “MA Thesis” courses in order to write a thesis, after completing the required number of credits,
to pass the MA thesis defense successfully.

Publication Requirement:

MA students are required to meet at least one of the following requirements which has to be related to their thesis and done in cooperation with their thesis supervisor(s):

An oral/ poster presentation at a national/ international refereed academic congress
An academic article published or accepted for publication at a national/ international refereed academic journal
